Golden Dawn Arkestra hails from a small planet in the constellation Cygnus, light-years away in the outermost reaches of the galaxy. The Arkestra conducts experiments involving space and time travel through the use of sound and movement. Their followers delight in these rituals; all bear witnesses to their higher selves and joyously bask in the eternal light that joins us all as one.

Armed with unique instrumentation that includes, horns, percussion, synthesizers, vibraphone and bass clarinet, Golden Dawn Arkestra combines deep grooves with cinematic textures. The theatric visuals of The Arkestra are enriched further by appearances from various dancers who, like the musicians, are adorned in shimmering garments reminiscent of intergalactic kingdoms of yore. Inspired to exuberance by ritualistic practices such as processions, chanting, and the power of the music itself, the audience falls into spellbound frenzies.

The Golden Dawn Arkestra returns from ions of spacetime travel to planet Earth bringing you their debut LP Stargazer. Since the critically acclaimed vinyl EP Golden Dawn Arkestra has travelled the space ways collecting even more intergalactic deities to join in their sonic experimentations. Stargazer brings you a grander more expansive sound that represents the joy and rapture that Golden Dawn Arkestra brings to audiences as they continue to spread a message of ecstatic consciousness. Recorded & produced by Erik Wofford (Black Angels, Okkervil River, Octopus Project) in his cathedral of sound on the banks of the Colorado River, Erik brings his expertise in psychedelia, analogue sound and reverberations to the already eclectic vibrations. The ARKESTRA proudly presents Stargazer a sonic journal of their cosmic explorations in the hopes that you too may experience the joy of drifting upon the ever-loving rays of RA.
